I was a part of the Embrace Change program the AMA has for moms. Being a single mom it was very helpful having kids in my 40s versus having my first in my teens. Some things I thought was the right way, I learned was not so right in dealing with kids. The program also taught me a lot of ways to look at things for Self. I loved the vibe, no one was judgmental about how you did things right or wrong.

Not too many programs I have taken in my past that I still use in my present life. To take classes with women who are actually going through the same struggles as me and understand exactly what I'm going through is indescribable. The tears are real and the love is genuine. To have an instructor who still keeps in contact with you even when your class is long done is breathtaking. I still brag about what I learned and try my best to pass the knowledge...the tools you learn can save another woman in distress

A Mothers Arms program is a great place for mothers to find their true selves. During the program it taught me things I didn't event know about myself as a mother. I've become very open minded about different aspects in life and motherhood. I recommend this program for all mothers!

First off I want to thank [Chantala] for letting me be a part of this amazing session. It was inspirational o so many levels. I enjoyed all the topics that we discussed, especially the amazing speakers. I loved the environment and enjoyed meeting new special people. I've learned so much about myself. gained tools to help with my journey and being the best version of myself, and most importantly a mother to my kids. This is a place where you learn you are not alone.

I enrolled in the Embrace Change program last year and learned several valuable lessons about motherhood, how to take care of individual wellness, and more about my parenting style. I really enjoyed the community of moms I was able to meet and share stories with. We were able to provide each other with valuable advice, support, and techniques to relieve stress. I understand that although being a mother is 24/7 for the rest of my life, it should not be considered a burden. I encourage all parents to participate in this program and join the network of support.

A Mothers Arms was a very great inspirational and informational program. A program that helped me with self love and parenting. A program that made me understand myself so much more and also boosted my self confidence. Many things I was clueless about other mothers came in and filled that void I had of not knowing certain things. With women empowerment we all come together as strong women and help each other up and keep each other firm and educated so we could be the best mother we can be to our children. This was a great learning experience with much information. I would do it all over again.

After hearing about the story of baby Jordan, I instantly realized how beneficial this group would be for the mothers that are a part of the Homeless Empowerment Program (HEP). Right away Chantala was able to build rapport with the moms that participated. They enjoyed to content and comradery. This group was very helpful to moms in that it provided a safe place to talk and support for those difficult conversations. Chantala's forethought in starting this group is a beautiful way to meet each mom where they are at, and lift them up surrounded by support, knowledge and experience.

Pinellas County Emergency Management values the partnership we have with AMA. From April to October, AMA distributed 175 emergency weather radios to at-risk residents of the North Greenwood area, to increase the resiliency of vulnerable individuals. Thank you for your continued and dedicated support of our community.

The A Mothers Arms organization was developed to assist parents with empowerment and life skills training as well as provide on-site respite care for the children. It is an organization geared towards making parents, children, and the community stronger. I have heard nothing but great things about this organization from parents. It is not only needed in the community but wanted. We support Chantala because she has been an advocate for our area for many years. We need programs like hers to assist parents and stop child abuse and death.
